The reopening of my Molestation has allowed me to look back at what happened to me as an Adult and no longer as the little 5-year-old girl who thought she did something wrong to deserve it.
As an Adult I know I did not deserve what happened to me and I am not to be blamed for it. I no longer have to carry that shame or feeling of unworthiness. The person who did those things to me is the one who was wrong, he is to be blamed and should be ashamed and I pray that if he hasn’t already done so that he get a chance to repent to God and get it right. I have made the decision once and for all to Forgive him and I pray if I ever see him I get the opportunity to tell him I forgive him.
To every one of you that is a victim of Molestation, I pray that as you allowed your old wombs to be reopened that you were able to release the shame, blame, fear and unworthiness that you’ve carried. Remember the Molestation does not define you, you deserved to be loved, appreciated and valued. Open your heart and allow God to come inside your heart and set you completely free from your past. There is no certain way to go to Him, just talk to him with an expectation to receive answers. If you still need the answer for the why He allowed such a thing to happen to you Talk to him. It’s been said that we are not suppose to question God but I beg to differ according to Isaiah 1:18 in the King James Version God says “come and let us reason together”…. another translation in the New Living Translation Bible says “come let’s settle this”……
Reason together and settle this means to talk about it lay it all out come to some type of understanding. That’s what God is saying to you so go to Him and get your answer. After you talk to Him lay still and quiet and listen with your heart and He will speak and answer you.
John 3:16 is a familiar passage that reminds us of the how much God loved us and how He Gave His only Son to die for us. Letting us know that all we have to do is Believe on Him and in Him so we would not perish upon death but have Everlasting life after the day of judgement.
That alone allows me to see the unfailing love of God and gives me Hope for that future know that if He loved me enough to allow His son to die for me He loves me enough to give me the Answers I need for healing.
